Sampler for liquid surfaces

The sampler for surfaces was developed for the reliable detection of light liquids on bodies of water or collection areas.

By lowering the sampler, a surface is imaged in the sight glass at a ratio of 15 to 1. This makes it possible, for example, to determine whether an oil phase has formed, as is the case with transformer retaining devices.

Only when oil can be safely excluded is it permitted to pump out the rainwater, depending on the approval.

Due to the simple handling and robustness of the device, oil can be reliably detected visually.
